1) My daily driver is a 1992 Miata. It's my second Miata, and as we all know, a Miata with an automatic is heresy. It's the most fun car I've ever shifted.
2) My icon pic is my other car. It's a 1968 Olds Cutlass with a 425 V8. It started out as an automatic, but I lucked into a parts car with a 4-speed. It took 8 months of fabrication and parts hunting to mate the Hurst Shifter to the Saginaw to the 425, but it was well worth it to be able to shift my own gears.
Other manual cars I've had include a 1991 Corvette with a 6-speed and a skip-shift eliminator chip, and a 1963 Corvair that never actually ran because there was nothing but bondo and rust under the paint.
